Title

PROPOSED DESIGN AND BUILD WORKS TO RENOVATE BMD ROOM AND X-RAY ROOM AT BASEMENT 1 RADIOLOGY IN MAIN BUILDING, CHANGI GENERAL HOSPITAL

Description

This RFP calls for Design and Build works, as specified under the Schedule of Works and necessary related works for the BMD Room and X-Ray Room at Level B1 Main Building, Changi General Hospital, include, but not limited to, the following:

Diversion, termination and/or relocation of mechanical and electrical services;
Erection of wall, ceiling, door, fittings and fixtures and finishes;
Supply and install partition wall, lead line wall, ceiling, flooring and other building infrastructure works;
Supply and install lead line hanger for apron with wall backing support;
Relocation of existing lead line hanger with wall backing support;
Relocate, temporary storage, removal and re-installation of loose furniture and equipment;
Supply and install customized stainless steel loose furniture;
Supply mid-back adjustable stools with foot rest, tilt back, swivel seat and castor ;
Interior design of the required space to meet the requirements as specified in the tender;
Design and modify the existing air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation system based on the proposed layout. Including adjust VAVs, VSD, supply & install new return grilles with ducts and diffusers and air balancing of entire ACMV system. All changes shall be updated to BMS system;
Supply & install, including relocation of power/e-source power, communication/PA system, Nurse call system, data and telephone points and other related works;
Supply and install, including relocation of all existing and new fire protection and safety system and other related works;
Supply and install all carpentry with cable management, stainless steel/ metal and furnishing and fittings;
Supply and install all plumbing and sanitary and solid surface backing for hand wash basin and other related works including fixture and fittings;
Engage Qualified Person (QP), Professional Engineer (PE) and Registered Inspector (RI) for the calculations, design, endorsement and submission to relevant approving authorities for approvals or in accordance to required guidelines as required;
Engage the services of a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) for all electrical works to be carried out;
To conduct Purity Test for existing wall terminal outlets at BMD and X-Ray room;

This entire renovation works to be completed within Twelve (12) weeks (include 1 week for mobilisation) from the Date of Commencement of the Works (including Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays).

This RFP is open to bidders with minimum CW01 – C3. Qualified bidders shall write to the buyer in charge at carmin.tan.k.m@alpshealthcare.com.sg with the following:

Please note that each company can only send 1 representative to attend the briefing and showround.
Kindly indicate the email address to be receiving all future correspondences from CGH with regard to this project.
CGH will share the Non-Disclosure Undertaking Form and details of the briefing.
