Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Synonym(s):

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is a surgical discipline that focuses on form, function and aesthetics. It is based on reconstructive principles and foundations of plastic surgery. In addition to being adept in both invasive and non-invasive rejuvenation of the face to deliver natural long- lasting results, our surgeons are able to provide augmentation and contouring of the breast and body. Patients are able to seek consultation for conditions involving the face, nose, upper and lower extremities, breast and body.

Our surgeons specialise in reconstruction and microsurgery. They are able to perform both local and free tissue transfer for breast cancer reconstruction, head and neck cancer reconstruction, abdominal reconstruction and are well versed in extremity reconstruction. Patients can expect individualised treatment so that an optimum outcome can be achieved.

Our team is also committed to education and training of medical students, junior doctors and future plastic surgeons. They are heavily involved in local and international teachings and organization of forums, workshops and symposiums for both patients and healthcare professionals.
