Reference Laboratory for Complex Endocrine Testing

The Shimadzu-CGH Clinomics Centre (SC³) is developing its role as a regional centre of excellence and a reference laboratory for endocrine mass spectrometry, supporting hospitals, healthcare institutions and researchers across Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.

The Centre’s expertise extends beyond laboratory testing, integrating specialised analytical science with clinical endocrinology to deliver accurate, clinically meaningful diagnostic information for patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders.

Primary aldosteronism is a common cause of secondary hypertension. Accurate laboratory measurement of aldosterone and renin is important in screening, diagnosis and long-term management for patients with the condition.

SC³ has a specialised diagnostic programme for primary aldosteronism, integrating advanced LC-MS/MS technology with clinical expertise in hypertension and endocrine disorders, to support clinicians throughout the diagnostic pathway, from initial biochemical screening to confirmatory investigations and treatment monitoring.
