Radiology

Synonym(s):

Our department is comprised of a dedicated team of doctors, radiographers, nurses and other healthcare staff, committed to providing high quality imaging and treatment services to our patients. The department performs and interprets more than 400,000 studies a year and supports more than 15 medical and surgical disciplines at Changi General Hospital (CGH).

Radiologists are specialist doctors who are trained to diagnose diseases by interpreting images acquired through the use of medical imaging equipment. Our radiologists are further trained in subspecialty areas of breast, neurological, head and neck, cardiothroacic, body and musculoskeletal imaging. Our interventional radiologists undergo additional training which allows them to conduct image-guided biopsies and non-invasive treatments.

The department also provides 24-hour imaging coverage for inpatient and emergency cases, in addition to outpatient services during office hours.
