Changi General Hospital offers a comprehensive range of vaccinations and recommendations to help ensure your well-being throughout your travels.

Staying Safe and Healthy on Your Travels

 

Before embarking on your journey, taking the following precautions can help prevent potential health risks:

  • Getting the necessary vaccinations recommended by your doctor
  • Preparing your personalised Travel Medical Kit with essential travel care items such as medication for sickness, dizziness, anti-diarrhoea 
  • Malaria prevention pills and personal protection against insect bites
  • Medication to prevent altitude sickness for high elevation travel (above 3,000m)

When you return home, treatment and services for the following conditions are available if required:
  • Fever
  • Diarrhoea (for symptoms lasting more than 48 hours)
  • Jaundice
  • Rashes
  • Sexually transmitted diseases
  • Medical screening for long-term travellers (abroad for more than 4 weeks) returning to Singapore

Travel Medical Kit

The Travel Medical Kit includes essential travel care items, such as medication for motion sickness, dizziness, anti-diarrhoea, antihistamines, fever, and headache. It can be obtained at CGH Pharmacy B, Main Building, without a doctor's prescription.
