Digital Prescriptions at CGH Pharmacy

Hardcopy prescriptions are no longer provided at CGH Specialist Outpatient Clinics. The medication orders will be sent electronically to the pharmacy and prepared for dispensing. To collect your medication, please proceed to the registration counter at the CGH pharmacies and present your NRIC for verification. You may view your prescription via the Health Buddy app by selecting “Medicine List”.

For prescriptions not issued by CGH, a hardcopy prescription must be presented at the pharmacy for collection. Online ordering services are not applicable for non-CGH prescriptions.

Should you require a copy of the medication list for reference, please inform our doctors, nurses, or pharmacy staff.

  1. How do I collect my medications without a hardcopy prescription?
    Your prescription will be sent electronically to the pharmacy. After your consultation, please proceed to the CGH Pharmacy and present your NRIC for verification.
    If you wish to collect your medication from a non-CGH pharmacy, please inform your doctor and request for a signed hardcopy prescription.
    You may opt for medication delivery via the Health Buddy app. Do ensure that you have at least 1 weeks’ worth of medications at home. For more information on Medication Delivery Service, please click here.​

  2. My medication is not available at the CGH Pharmacy. What should I do?
    Please request for a signed hardcopy prescription from your doctor to collect your medication from a non-CGH pharmacy.

  3. How long is my medication prescription valid for?
    All medication prescriptions have a 1-year validity from the date of issue. For example, if the prescription was ordered on 1 December 2024, it will be valid until 30 November 2025.

  • Compounds sterile preparations such as parenteral nutrition, intravenous cytotoxic drugs etc. for inpatient use
  • Selected Intravenous infusion using elastomeric pumps for outpatient antibiotic therapy (OPAT)

The Medication Therapy Management (MTM) service aims to promote the safe and effective use of medications while assisting patients to achieve targeted outcomes from medication therapy. With a better understanding of their medications, patients are empowered to take a more active role in managing their medications.

Smoking Cessation Clinic

This clinic help smokers quit smoking and lead healthier, smoke-free life. Our pharmacists, who are certified Quit Smoking Consultants, will assess a patient’s nicotine dependence and provide counsel, while designing an appropriate treatment plan together with the patient.
