Dr Zheng Xiaojin

Dr Zheng Xiaojin is a consultant in the Department of Surgery at Changi General Hospital (CGH). She graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2006 and did her post-graduate training in Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and CGH. She attained a Masters in Medicine (Surgery) and became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh after completing her advanced specialty training in general surgery in 2014.

Dr Zheng has also completed a clinical fellowship in thyroid and endocrine surgery, including robotic and laparoscopic surgery with the Division of Thyroid and Endocrine Surgery at Severance Hospital (Yonsei University Health System) in South Korea. During her fellowship, Dr Zheng studied robotic techniques in thyroidectomy as well as minimally invasive techniques of adrenalectomy via the retroperitoneal approach. Her interests are in benign and malignant thyroid conditions as well parathyroid conditions and adrenal gland tumours.

Besides clinical work, Dr Zheng is also involved in undergraduate medical education as clinical tutor of both NUS and NTU medical schools. She is also physician faculty of the Singhealth General Surgery Residency Program.
