Clin Assoc Prof Tong Khim Leng

Adj Associate Prof Tong Khim Leng is the current director of Echocardiography Service and senior consultant with the Department of Cardiology at Changi General Hospital (CGH). Her subspecialty interests include echocardiography and sports cardiology. She obtained her MBBS degree from the National University of Singapore in 1992, and completed two years of fellowship training 2001 – 2003 at the University of Virginia, USA, with focus in contrast echocardiography.

In 2009, she completed her second HMDP in sports cardiology at the Institute of Science and Sports Medicine in Italy, under the Italian National Olympic Committee. She is a member of various national and regional committees and taskforces, and works closely with Singapore Sports & Exercise Medicine Centre @ CGH.
