Dr See Qin Yong is a Consultant Family Physician with the Care and Health Integration Department at Changi General Hospital (CGH). He obtained his MBBS in 2009, Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2014 and Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) in 2016 from National University of Singapore (NUS). He was later conferred as a fellow of College of Family Physicians Singapore in 2019.
Dr See is active in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. He holds an adjunct teaching faculty position with Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and is a physician faculty member of the SingHealth Family Medicine Residency program. He has experience as an examiner in various family medicine postgraduate training examinations such as the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine. For his contributions to education in SingHealth, he was awarded the SingHealth Associate in Education in 2019.
Dr See is also active in research and has a keen interest in patients with complex needs. He has done several presentations locally and internationally, most notably the 22nd WONCA World Conference of Family Doctors in 2018. He is currently a peer reviewer for Singapore Medical Journal as well as a reviewer for GPFirst, a mini-series for the CGH CARING magazine. His research interests are in population health and health services and outcomes.
