Dr. Raghuraman Raghavan graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2007 before pursing his interest in orthopaedic surgery and commencing his formal specialist training in 2012. He was then appointed as a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow) in 2011 before he went on to obtain his Master of Medicine (Orthopaedic Surgery) from the National University of Singapore in 2017. He was subsequently appointed as fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (orthopaedic surgery) in 2018 and was awarded the College of Surgeons Gold Medal in Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Raghavan’s subspecialty interests are hip and knee surgery (arthroplasty and sports surgery). He is currently the Director of the Hip and Knee Surgery service in CGH. He also has a keen interest in medical education and is actively involved in organising and conducting education programmes in orthopaedic surgery to undergraduates as well as postgraduates.
