Profile
Dr Annalisa Ng is a Senior Consultant at the Department of Surgery in Changi General Hospital (CGH). Her clinical interests are in upper gastrointestinal, metabolic and bariatric surgery, hernia surgery, minimally invasive surgery as well as therapeutic endoscopy. She graduated with an MBBS from the National University of Singapore (NUS) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2010 and subsequently obtained her Masters of Medicine (Surgery) from NUS in 2016. She obtained her Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 2017 and was awarded the Gold Medal from the College of Surgeons, Singapore, for being the top candidate in the Surgical Exit Examination in 2018.
Dr Ng furthered her specialist training by completing a year-long fellowship in minimally invasive upper gastrointestinal oncology surgery with a focus on robotic-assisted oesophagectomy at the University Medical Centre Utrecht, Netherlands; a pioneer in the use of robotic-assisted surgery for such procedures.
