CGH Trauma Symposium 2019

Our trauma team also believes in sharing most recent up to date clinical knowledge with our medical fraternity.

Over the years, we have been collaborating with different group of medical subspecialties to organize bi- annual trauma symposiums. At these symposiums, various talks are given by doctors, nursing staff and allied health care professionals to address the latest development in trauma healthcare.

Apart from lectures, we also facilitated case scenario discussions with experts from different fields. We are also privileged to have the medical vendors to share the some of the most recent changes in products and devices which may benefit patient care in the hospital and outpatient setting. We are also aware that some patients who had severe trauma live with functional disabilities and have social issues which made it difficult for them to re- integrate back to the society.

Hence, the aim of our trauma symposium have also evolved to address these important issues to allow for a more holistic care for our patients.

The feedback and responses have been extremely encouraging and we have since opened up to attendees from other hospitals and allied healthcare groups.
