Members of the CGH Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine are internationally recognised for their research contributions spanning various fields in diagnostics, therapeutics, patient care, medical devices and education.

We are also proud of the multiple ongoing inter-professional and collaborative research projects with both local and international collaborators. Active research programs are in place for many aspects of pulmonary disease and critical care medicine and these include: asthma/respiratory allergy, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchiectasis, pneumonia, lung cancer, interstitial lung diseases, tuberculosis and pleural diseases.
