Refund Authorisation

Refunds via PayNow – NRIC/FIN

From 1 August 2025, CGH will issue refunds to PayNow accounts linked to the patient’s National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) or Foreign Identification Number (FIN). This is a more secure option that helps ensure that refunds are credited to the intended recipient, with the NRIC/FIN as the unique identifier for the recipient.

Refunds via PayNow – NRIC/FIN do not apply for:

  1. Patients under 18 years old, foreign patients/employees, mentally incapacitated patients (as medically declared), and deceased patients.
  2. Requests by patients to authorise a Next-of-Kin (NOK) or other party to receive the refund on their behalf.
