The Medication Delivery Service by CGH offers patients convenient alternatives to in-person medication collection at the hospital. Skip the queue at the pharmacy and have your prescribed medications delivered to your doorstep.

Your medicines can be delivered to your doorstep if:

  • You have a valid CGH prescription, with balance medicines to be collected.
  • Your prescription does not include Controlled Drugs or Sample Drugs.
  • The prescription is within one year from the date of issue (e.g. If you wish to have your medicines delivered on 1 January 2026, the prescription must be dated 1 January 2026 or later.)

1. Arrange for delivery via the Health Buddy app

Select ‘Delivery’ and indicate your preferred delivery date and timeslot

2. Be present for delivery

Ensure you (or an authorised person) will be home during the delivery slot

3. Receive your OTP via SMS

You will receive an OTP (One Time Password) and QR code for verification

4. Doorstep Delivery

Provide the OTP or QR code to the courier for verification and acknowledgement

You must be physically present at the arranged delivery date, timeslot, and address. If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, an authorised person (above 18 years old) may collect your medication on your behalf.

  • Incorrect or invalid address provided and/or failure to receive the medication at the selected delivery timeslot
  • Order amendment or cancellation after medication had been dispatched for delivery
  • Order amendment or cancellation within 3 working days before scheduled medication delivery date

*Order amendment or cancellation includes change of medication collection method, medication quantity, delivery address, delivery timeslots, etc.

By using this service, you agree to the following:

  1. You agree to the charges and conditions specified in this section, ‘Delivery Charges and Cancellation Policy’ and Medicine Order Service - Terms of Use (SingHealth).
    • You acknowledge that medication charges will only be computed after the pharmacy processes your medications. Once the billing is finalised, you will be notified of the amount due via SMS, where applicable. You may view your invoice on Health Buddy.
    • You agree to ensure full payment of your medications and delivery charges as invoiced.
       
  2. Medication Quantities and Supply
    • Supply of certain medications may be withheld based on our pharmacists’ professional assessment and if they have clinical or patient safety concerns. Medication quantities may also be subject to adjustment without prior notice.
    • All quantities of medicines are verified before dispatch. CGH Pharmacy reserves the right to investigate and reject any claims regarding quantity discrepancies or defects in the medications delivered.
      • Recipients must inform CGH Pharmacy of any defects or quantity disputes within 3 calendar days of date of delivery. To report any issues, please contact medication_delivery_service@cgh.com.sg

  3. Strictly no return or refund of medicines will be accepted if:
    • The medicine packaging has been opened or damaged.
    • The medication was processed and delivered correctly according to the order.
    • The return is due to brand or price changes.
    • Discrepancies are reported to CGH Pharmacy after 3 calendar days of the date of delivery.

Pick & Go (Available for Pharmacy @ MC only)

Pre-order your medications through the Health Buddy app, and collect them directly from our pharmacy collection counter after 3 working days. 

1. Order Medications via the Health Buddy app

Select ‘Pharmacy @ MC (Pick and Go)’ and indicate your preferred collection date

2. Receive SMS Reminder

A reminder will be sent one day before the collection date

3. Collect your medication

On the day of collection, head to Counter 3 at Pharmacy @ MC and show your SMS reminder for verification

Order your medications through the Health Buddy app for same-day collection at the pharmacy. Patients may select the quantities of medications to be collected, before arriving. 

*The medication order is only valid until the end of the day. Uncollected orders will be cancelled.

Your invoice will be ready within 2 to 5 working days. For cash payment, please proceed to the Payment counter to obtain your invoice after collection.

You may view your invoice on the Health Buddy app and make payment through the Health Buddy app, SingHealth mobile pay, AXS app or stations, DBS PayLah!, PayNow, and DBS iBanking. For more details on the payment methods, click here.
*Do note that physical invoices will not be issued.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Medication Delivery Service

The Medication Delivery Service is only applicable to CGH prescriptions.

You may amend/cancel your order via Health Buddy or HealthHub. However, you cannot do so after the pharmacy has started processing the order.

  • To cancel your order, go to 'Medication Refill History' section.
  • To amend your order or collection details, please cancel the existing order and place a new order with updated details.

*Cancellation and amendment requests within three (3) working days of the scheduled delivery can only be made via telephone or email. These requests are subject to CGH's pharmacy's discretion and applicable fees may apply. 

A valid CGH prescription is required for the medicine order to be processed. If you do not have one or if you need a new prescription, kindly submit your request through the Health Buddy app.


How to submit your request:

  1. On the Health Buddy app, click into “Login All”. Under “For you”, select “Order Medicines”.
  2. Select the institution that prescribed your prescription, click on “Submit Order Request” and enter your personal particulars.
  3. In the prescription description, click on the blue underlined “here” and click “Proceed”.
  4. Ensure your personal particulars are correct again before clicking “Next”.
  5. Choose the clinic from the dropdown menu and fill in the details of your required medications.
  6. Select your preferred payment method and mode of medication collection.

If you are not able to receive the medicines in person, you can appoint someone who is at least 18 years old to receive the medicines on your behalf.

You can place a delivery order for the balance of your medicines via the Health Buddy app. Please place your orders at least one week before your medicines are due to run out.

 

Repeat Prescription Request (Top-up Medications)

In the Health Buddy app, select "Order Medicines", "Changi General Hospital", and select your prescription. Select the medications required and click on the prompt to request for a new prescription.

Please note that your request is subject to your doctor's assessment.

  1. You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided in the request is accurate and complete. Any request containing inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information may be considered invalid without further notice.

  2. Repeat Prescription requests are subject to review and approval by the care team and are intended only for outpatients with ongoing follow ups at CGH. Patients who are discharged or seen only at the Emergency Department are not eligible. CGH may decline any request if there is no upcoming appointment with the relevant specialty or if medication or patient safety, or other clinical considerations, require it.

  3. In the event that the patient does not receive SMS notifications or progress updates regarding their request, the patient should initiate contact to enquire about the status of their request through:
  4. Repeat Prescription requests do not include medication collection arrangements. SMS notification(s) will be sent upon approval of the Repeat Prescription request(s). Medication collection can be arranged via Health Buddy/Health Hub, or collected in person at CGH Pharmacy during opening hours.

To receive alerts about new prescriptions, go to the Health Buddy app and click More > Activate Notifications to enable push notifications. When a new prescription is available for you, you will receive a push notification.

To view the prescription, go to the 'Medicine List' section. You may place your medication collection order through Medicines > Order Online. You can opt for the medication delivery service or collect in person at the pharmacy during our opening hours. 

 

Payment

Approved third party payors are accepted for payment of medicines, although delivery amendment or cancellation charges will be borne by you. Please ensure your medical benefit card is valid before placing an order for delivery, otherwise any outstanding payment will be borne by you.

Cash on delivery is not an accepted mode of payment. We highly encourage cashless payment. 

MediSave is an accepted mode of payment. Please ensure that there is sufficient balance for deduction. Please note that any outstanding amount not covered by MediSave will be borne by you.
