The Department of Urology at Changi General Hospital (CGH) has a comprehensive range of services for the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in Urology and various subspecialties.

The department’s vision is to deliver quality, patient-centered, evidence-based and collaborative care to every patient who have entrusted us with his/her urological issues. We have the expertise and surgical skills in general urology and all the subspecialties of urology. Our specialist staff have undergone training and accreditation from well-known overseas medical institutions and we employ a team-based, multi-disciplinary collaborative approach in the management of complex urological conditions.

The department plays an integral role in the training of medical undergraduates, postgraduates and nurses. Within the department, there is a wide range of academic activities, such as grand ward rounds, pre and post-surgery reviews, tumour boards and radiological meetings. We also contribute to the continuing of medical education for family physicians and general practitioners through teaching programmes and lectures while being active in clinical research. We are also active in engaging and empowering the public through public forums, as we believe that healthcare starts before a person becomes a patient.
