​12 January 2020 - Members of the public have raised concerns about the proper usage and hygiene of hot springs, with the recent opening of the Sembawang Hot Spring Park. Dr Chow Chiu Leung, Consultant, Department of Geriatric Medicine, CGH, pointed out that the water in the hot spring water may contain bacteria even at high temperatures and advised those with wounds or ulcers on their feet against using the hot springs.
