14 April 2020 - A report by a CGH research team revealed that the CT scan of an infected 53-year-old COVID-19 patient showed irregular patterns of ‘crazy paving’. It showed for the first time a chest X-ray and CT scan image that had ground-glass opacities in the lungs at the point of admission, and some of the shadows had covered the blood vessels. In addition, the lobule of the patient's lungs was thickened and formed a net-like thin line, which overlapped the ground-glass shadows.
