13 May 2016 – For the first time in Singapore, staff from General Practitioner (GP) Clinics have been specially recognized for their caring service to patients.

The Eastern Health Alliance’s annual Caring Awards has been recognizing exceptional healthcare staff, patients and caregivers from its partner organisations since 2013. Last year, GPs in eastern Singapore were invited for the first time to nominate their patients and caregivers for the award. This has been further expanded at this year’s fourth edition of the Caring Awards to include GP clinic staff.
