27 January 2021 - Leveraging spectrometry for clinical diagnosis, blood samples of hypertension patients can be tested locally instead of being sent overseas. Patients can receive their test results with a reduction in waiting time from approximately two weeks to one or two days.

The Shimadzu-CGH Clinomics Centre (SC3) set up will allow doctors to offer personalised treatment of patients with chronic diseases such as hypertension.
