Casodex®
Bicalutamide is a medicine that is used to treat prostate cancer. It works by blocking the effect of a male sex hormone - testosterone.
It is a tablet, to be taken by mouth at the same time every day. It can be taken with food or on an empty stomach, with a glass of water or juice.
If you miss a dose of Bicalutamide, take it as soon as you can if it is within 12 hours of the missed dose. If more than 12 hours have passed, skip the missed dose and go back to your usual dosing time. Do not double dose.
