About Doctor

Dr Jason Low is an Associate Consultant with the Occupational and Aviation Medicine Service at Changi General Hospital (CGH). He has dual accreditation in aviation medicine as well as respiratory and intensive care medicine.

After graduating from the National University of Singapore (NUS) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine  in 2006, Dr Low was awarded the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Local Study Award for medicine and joined the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), where he served for 18 years. Prior to joining CGH, Dr Low was the Head of the RSAF’s Aeromedical Centre (ARMC) and the Deputy Chief Air Force Medical Officer. On top of helming the RSAF’s aviation medicine policies, he also led the professional training and development of its junior aviation medicine doctors as the concurrent Programme Director of the National Aviation Medicine Specialist Training Programme. He was also involved in establishing the RSAF-CGH MOU to develop Singapore Changi Aeromedical Centre (SCAC) as a regional Centre of Excellence in Aviation Medicine.

For his contributions, Dr Low was awarded the Commendation Medal (Military) in 2024 and is a recipient the COVID-19 Resilience Medal.
