Adj Assoc Prof Chionh Chang Yin

Adj A/Prof Chionh Chang Yin is currently the Chairman, Division of Medicine and a Senior Consultant with the Department of Renal Medicine at Changi General Hospital. He practices renal medicine with an interest in acute kidney injury and continuous renal replacement therapy.

A/Prof Chionh obtained his medical degree from the National University of Singapore. After completing specialist training in Renal Medicine in Singapore, he pursued a research fellowship in Critical Care Nephrology in Italy. An active undergraduate and postgraduate medical educator, he holds academic appointments with Duke-NUS School of Medicine, Singapore University of Technology and Design, and the National University of Singapore. He is also active in clinical research, contributing to publications in renal medicine. As one of the pioneer Clinician Innovators, he successfully conceptualised and developed a medical device, supported by national-level innovation grants. He holds patents in Singapore and the USA for his invention.

In August 2023, A/Prof Chionh was conferred the National Day Awards – Public Administration Medal (Bronze) in recognition for his contributions.
