Clin Asst Prof Sanjiv Nair Sasidharan

Clin Asst Prof Sanjiv Nair is a Consultant with the Department of Psychological Medicine at Changi General Hospital (CGH). He also serves as the Director of CGH’s Health Wellness Programme, overseeing the support and training of community mental health providers in the Eastern region of Singapore. 

Apart from general psychiatry, Dr Nair conducts individual and group psychodynamic psychotherapy as part of the CGH’s Complex Needs Service. He is also a founding member of the Centre for Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at CGH, which is dedicated to developing and setting the standards for the practice of psychodynamic psychotherapy in Singapore.

Actively involved in medical education, Dr Nair teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He serves as a Core Clinical Faculty Member of the Psychiatry Residency Programme and a Clinical Physician Faculty Member for the Family Medicine Residency Programme.
