About

Dr Michael Lau is an Associate Consultant with the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Changi General Hospital (CGH). He graduated with his MBBS from the National University of Singapore (NUS) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2010 and went on to obtain his specialist certifications in Internal Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians in 2016. Dr Lau is also certified in Chemical Pathology by the Royal College of Pathologists from the United Kingdom.

Dedicated to advancing medicine, Dr Lau has published original articles in international journals and has presented his findings at various local conventions. He won the Singapore Association of Clinical Biochemists (SACB) Asia-Pacific Federation for Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine (APFCB) Scholarship in 2019, and was awarded the Best Platform Presentation Award at the SingHealth 7th Pathology Academic Clinical Programme (ACP) Research Day 2020.
