Dr Crystal Wong Shie Lyeen

Dr Wong is an consultant microbiologist with the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Changi General Hospital (CGH). She obtained her primary medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland / Penang Medical College, Malaysia in 2003. She then obtained her MRCPI from the Royal College of Physicians Ireland in 2007 and FRCPath from the Royal College of Pathologists, London in 2014.

Dr Wong completed her basic medical followed by her specialist training in Clinical Microbiology in Ireland in 2015 and her last appointment was as a consultant microbiologist in North Middlesex University Hospital (NHS) UK as clinical lead in Infection Prevention and Control before joining the Microbiology Department at CGH in 2016.
