About Doctor

 
Dr Zhang Junren is a Consultant with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Changi General Hospital (CGH). He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore in 2008, obtained his postgraduate orthopaedic surgery qualifications and completed specialty training in 2018.
 
He has further honed his surgical skills in the UK, with accreditation in dual clinical fellowships in shoulder and elbow surgery as well as orthopaedic trauma surgery. With special interests in these areas, Dr Zhang runs general orthopaedic, trauma, shoulder and elbow clinics at CGH, and participates actively in research and medical education.
 
A firm believer in evidence-based medicine, Dr Zhang holds various teaching roles and spends his time grooming the next generation of surgeons, and has widely published articles in major orthopaedic journals.
