Dr Tan Seow Yen is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Infectious Diseases at Changi General Hospital (CGH). She obtained her Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine in 2012, and completed her Master of Public Health from the National University of Singapore (NUS) Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health in 2024.
Dr Tan is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care with expertise in managing complex infections as well as antimicrobial stewardship. With extensive clinical experience, she has lead initiatives to safeguard patient safety and enhance quality of care. Passionate about education and training, Dr Tan is actively involved in mentoring healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance clinical excellence and public health preparedness. She holds multiple academic appointments, including Physician Faculty for the SingHealth Infectious Diseases Residency Programme and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health.
Dedicated to delivering evidence-based care, Dr Tan works closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients and the broader hospital community. Her contributions to medical excellence were recognised with the Gold Award at the Singapore Health Quality Service Award in 2025.
