Dr Chien is currently the Chief & Senior Consultant with the Department of Infectious Diseases at Changi General Hospital (CGH).

After graduating from the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Dr Jaime Chien took interest in the topic of infectious diseases and underwent specialty training at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) before attaining specialist accreditation in infectious diseases in 2012. She then went on to pursue her interest in the subspecialty of tropical diseases and parasitology and did a fellowship in the Instituto de Medicinia Tropical Alexander von Humboldt at Lima, Peru in 2013.
