Dr Tan Hiang Jin

Dr Tan Hiang Jin is a Consultant with the Department of Surgery at Changi General Hospital (CGH). He graduated from the National University of Malaysia in 2013 and completed his training in General Surgery at SingHealth with the Specialist Accreditation Board certification in 2023. He is currently undergoing specialist Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) training in CGH. 

Dr Tan’s main interest is in HPB surgery, where he aims to achieve excellence in minimally invasive HPB surgery and complex surgeries, using advance techniques. He has published numerous articles during his service and intends to participate actively in research.

Dr Tan is actively involved in medication education, holding several faculty positions such as Clinical Instructor at Duke-NUS Medical School and Clinical Teacher at NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. He participates in teaching of undergraduates and regularly contributes to surgical workshops.
