About

Dr Soh Feng Wei is an Associate Consultant with the Occupational and Aviation Medicine Service at Changi General Hospital (CGH). He graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2009 and joined the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) in 2011. He obtained his Diploma in Aviation Medicine (UK) and completed his Aviation Medicine training with the Society of Aviation Medicine in 2016. Dr Soh then pursued his Family Medicine Residency with SingHealth, obtaining his Master of Medicine in Family Medicine in 2018 and Family Physician Accreditation in 2019. Dr Soh led several medical units in the RSAF, including serving as the Commanding Officer of the RSAF Heliborne Search and Rescue medical unit and Head of General Staff at the RSAF Medical Service. 

In 2024, Dr Soh joined CGH as the Clinic Head of Singapore Changi Aeromedical Centre where he is involved in the aeromedical selection and screening of pilots, controllers, and other flying vocations. He brings to the centre his expertise in military and civil clinical aviation medicine, aviation physiology training, operational aviation medicine, fitness to fly assessments, and patient movement by air. He is also actively involved in enhancing aeromedical service delivery, aviation medicine research and the training of the future generation of aviation medicine physicians.
