Dr Jessica Eleanor Malanjum

Dr. Jessica Eleanor Malanjum is a Consultant with the Department of Anaesthesia and Surgical Intensive Care at Changi General Hospital (CGH), where she also serves as Director of Airway Services. In her role as Director of Airway Services, Dr Malanjum leads initiatives to advance airway management practices, education and multidisciplinary collaboration within CGH.

Her academic qualifications include:

• Bachelor of Biomedical Science, University of Melbourne, Australia, specialising in biochemistry, biophysics, biomedical statistics and mathematics, pharmacology, microbiology and immunology, neuroscience, as well as cell and developmental biology
• Bachelor of Science (Honours), University of Melbourne, Australia, with a focus on Genetic Physiology
• Bachelor of Medicine, Surgery and Obstetrics (MB BCh BAO), University College Cork, Ireland. She was named a College Scholar in 2008 and 2010, and graduated with Upper Second Class Honours in 2011
• Membership of the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (MCAI), 2014
• Master of Medicine (Anaesthesiology), Singapore, 2019
• Anaesthesiology Exit Examination, Singapore, 2021

Dr Malanjum has a keen interest in anaesthesiology and intensive care medicine, biomedical science, genetic physiology, paediatric anaesthesia, and perioperative medicine.
