ReXilience® Course: Be Resilient, Be Awesome |

---|---|
Summary | Resilience comprises inner strengths of mind and character, which enable individuals to respond to adversities and everyday stress. Resilience also provides the capacity to prevent mental health conditions that may evolve over time due to stress-induced situations, life struggles and adversities. When individuals recognise their inner strengths, they recognise that they have the innate capacity and ability to cope and improve their lives.
This course aims to provide participants with a reflective space and skills to enhance personal resilience in response to life’s setbacks and adversities. There will be experiential exercises such as individual reflective processes and group discussions that will enhance somatic, emotional, psychological and relational resilience of participants.

ReXilience® Course: Post-Incident Dialogue with Empathy |
|
---|---|
Summary | Staff exposed to critical incidents may perceive and experience these events as threats to their safety or disruptors to the stability of their world. While most individuals have a baseline of resilience, which allows them to cope with the impact, some may need additional help to recover from physical and emotional distress. An empathic ear, a compassionate colleague and a caring team will help in the recovery process.
This course provides leaders with the skills to convey factual information to keep their staff abreast of the challenging situations, reduce speculation among staff, raise awareness of the actions taken and acknowledge the emotional distress experienced by staff.
