As head of the HSR department, Hong Choon is responsible for developing health services research in CGH to support management decision-making, and to deliver the best patient outcomes through translating data into evidence to guide decision making. His research interests are in the areas of discrete event simulation, system dynamics, prescriptive analytics and cost effectiveness evaluation.

Nang holds a Ph.D. with an emphasis on cardiovascular epidemiology. Before joining CGH, she worked in non-governmental, governmental, and academic sectors. Her work involved humanitarian assistance, public health interventions, and qualitative and quantitative research studies in the Southeast Asia region. Her current work in CGH focuses on the evaluation of public health programs and health outcomes research. Her research interests include health services and system research, implementation science, and global health.

Dr Pwee conducts health technology assessment (HTA) to help make informed decisions on the use of health technologies in CGH. His research interests include methods in HTA , processes for employing HTA in decision-making, clinical practice guidelines development methodology and general methods in evidence-based healthcare.

Dr Srinath’s PhD training in computational modelling helped him start his career in data analytics. He wants to leverage his data science experience in other domains within the healthcare industry by using data analytics to improve operations and care delivery. His current research interests include predictive modelling using machine learning, business analytics and improving process and staff productivity using robotic process automation (RPA).

Trained in public health, Milawaty is a mixed method researcher. Prior to joining CGH, Mila worked at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health on the evaluation of various public health programs. Her research interests are innovative care models, healthcare reforms, evaluation of complex intervention, implementation science and realist methods.

Bryan’s research interests lie in economic evaluation related to new health technology and programmes. He also has previous experience in evaluating the cost-effectiveness of cancer screening programmes for primary and secondary prevention. He is currently also involved in health technology assessment (HTA) efforts to help make informed decisions on the use of health technologies in CGH.

Xuan Han is trained in public health epidemiology, and has a background in biology and psychology. He has experience using novel techniques to infer causality from observational data. His research interests include using methodology and biostatistics to improve causal inference, their application to programme evaluation, behavioural economics, and predictive modelling.
