As head of the HSR department, Hong Choon is responsible for developing health services research in CGH to support management decision-making and to deliver the best patient outcomes through translating data into evidence to guide decision making. Dr Pwee conducts health technology assessment (HTA) to inform decision-making on the use of health technologies in CGH. His research interests include methods in health technology assessment, processes for employing HTA in decision-making, clinical practice guidelines development methodology and methods in evidence-based healthcare in general.
