CGH 88th Anniversary Community Mural

The Changi General Hospital 88th Anniversary Community Mural was unveiled by Mr Heng Swee Keat, Deputy Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies and Adviser to East Coast Group Representation Constituency (GRC) Grassroots Organisations (GROs); and fellow East Coast GRC GROs Advisers, Senior Minister of State Mr Tan Kiat How, Ms Jessica Tan and Ms Cheryl Chan on 26 August 2023.

Made up of 264,292 photo-bricks, the 6m-by-2.8m mural was pieced together by about 350 staff, partners and volunteers – making this Singapore’s largest photo-brick community mural.

Conceptualised by CGH, the mural commemorates the hospital’s legacy of trusted care for the community over 88 years, and symbolises the collective strengths and efforts of the Caring General Hospital, its valued partners and volunteers in contributing to better health and healthcare.
