You Order, We Deliver - 5 Simple Steps

Can I use Medication Delivery Service (MDS)?

You can use MDS if:

Your original CGH prescription is retained by CGH Pharmacy and it fulfils the following criteria:

  • There are balances of medications to be collected, with the exception of Controlled Drugs
  • Is within one year from the date of issue. For example, if you wish to have your medications delivered on 5 Mar 2019, the prescription must be dated 5 Mar 2018 or later
  • You make full payment of the payable amount
    • All items delivered are not exchangeable nor refundable
  • You, or an authorised person (aged 18 and above), are present to receive the medications at the mutually agreed delivery date, time and location  
    • A fee will be imposed for any unsuccessful delivery attempt due to an incorrect or invalid address provided or if no one was present to receive the medications, and for any order amendment or cancellation made within 3 working days of confirmed delivery date
    • An additional fee may apply for a re-delivery or a special arrangement delivery

     

Delivery Charges & Cancellation Policy

Delivery, amendment of cancellation charges are as follows:

If recipient was not available to receive the medications at mutually agreed delivery date and time, or for unsuccessful delivery due to incorrect/invalid address provided.

FAQs

What are your delivery timings?

Our delivery timings are:

  • Monday to Saturday between 10.00am to 2.00pm
  • Monday to Saturday between 2.00pm to 6.00pm
  • Monday to Saturday between 6.00pm to 10.00pm

There will be no delivery on Sundays and Public Holidays.

 

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to all valid local addresses within mainland Singapore, excluding offshore islands and secured areas. You can also opt to have your medication delivered to one of the 24/7 PILBOX locker stations at SingHealth Polyclinics at Bedok, Marine Parade, Punggol, Sengkang and Tampines.

 

For delivery to PILBOX, does the medication need to be collected within a certain timeframe? What happens when the medication is not collected?

Please collect your medication from PILBOX within 36 hours of delivery. If the medication is not collected at the end of this period, it will be sent back to CGH Pharmacy. You can arrange for a second delivery (re-delivery fee applies).

 

Can I submit an order if I do not have a prescription, or if my previously submitted prescription has been completely filled?

Supply of medications requires a valid prescription before we can process your order. If you do not have one or if you need a new prescription, kindly submit your request through the Health Buddy app.

 

Can I submit an MDS order using a non-CGH prescription?

Only patients with a CGH prescription can submit MDS orders for medications available in CGH Pharmacy.

 

Can I amend or cancel my order after it has been submitted, or change my delivery date and/or time after it has been confirmed?

Any amendment or cancellation request must be received at least 3 working days from the confirmed delivery date. Otherwise it will be subjected to a charge of $7.60.

 

How do I know if my online order has been successfully submitted?

An order acknowledgement will be sent to the email address you provided.

 

How do I pay for my medications?

Payment can be made through SingHealth Mobile Pay, DBS bill payment service, AXS stations or self-service automated stations.

 

I have a medical benefit card; can I use it to pay for the service?

Approved 3rd party payors are accepted for payment of medications. However, delivery amendment or cancellation charges will be borne by you. Please provide us with the necessary payment documents when you register for the medication delivery service.

 

Can I opt to use Medisave or Cash on Delivery as a payment mode?

We highly encourage cashless payment for medications. We do accept Medisave as a payment mode. Kindly indicate the option when placing your medication orders.

 

How do I know when my medications are ready for delivery?

On your selected delivery date and time slot, an SMS notification will be sent to the contact number you provided. If you have opted for delivery to PILBOX, you will receive an SMS notification once your medication has been deposited into the locker.

 

Can someone else receive my medications for me?

If you are unable to receive your medications in person, you can give consent for another person who is 18 years old and above to receive the medications on your behalf.

 

How do I refill a previously submitted prescription?

You can order your prescription refill medications through the Health Buddy App. Kindly place your orders at least 1 week before your medications are due to run out.

 

My medical appointment has been postponed and my medications are running out. How do I request for a top-up of my medications?

You can download the SingHealth Health Buddy App to request for a prescription refill and opt for delivery of your medications.

 

How do I know if the prescription is ready?

You will receive an SMS notification to your registered contact number once your prescription is ready.
