Getting Around CGH

CGH Campus is an integrated medical facility comprising the CGH Main Building, Medical Centre and Integrated Building.

Most wards are located within the Main Building and the Integrated Building. Visitors to the hospital may register at the respective building’s registration counters when visiting their loved ones.

The majority of our outpatient clinics are located within the Medical Centre, which serves as the primary one-stop centre for outpatient care.

Visitors and patients can find community-medicine facilities such as the Geriatric Day Hospital and rehabilitative services at the Integrated Building. Managed in conjunction with Saint Andrew's Community Hospital, the Integrated Building aims to provide a conducive rehabilitative environment both for patients and caregivers in recovery transition back to home.

Use of Personal Mobility Devices and Aids (PMDs and PMAs)

At Changi General Hospital, ensuring the safety of our patients and visitors is priority. Therefore, there is a need to manage the use of motorised mobility devices such as Personal Mobility Devices (PMDs) and Personal Mobility Aids (PMAs) on hospital premises to avoid unnecessary accidents.

We seek your understanding in adhering to the following guidelines:

Personal Mobility Devices (PMDs) and Power-assisted Bicycles (PABs) which refer to devices such as kick-scooters, electric scooters, hover boards, unicycles, are NOT ALLOWED within SingHealth Institutions buildings and sheltered areas (e.g. Covered walkways).

Charging of PMDs are strictly prohibited within SingHealth premises.

Personal Mobility Aids (PMAs) refer to devices such as wheelchairs, motorised wheelchairs or mobility scooters (i.e. have 3 or more wheels with a seat), and are allowed within SingHealth premises.

However, as PMAs pose as a risk to hospital patients and staff, they are not allowed in our wards and outpatient clinics. Wheelchairs are available for your use during your stay. Patients who are coming for outpatient appointments can park the PMAs at the Medical Centre near the Taxi Stand. Our Service Ambassadors will assist you to a wheelchair and help you to your clinic.

Thank you for making Changi General Hospital a safe environment for our patients, visitors and staff.
