Dr Yang Liying is a Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine of the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 2008. She completed her Master of Medicine in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2013 and became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the same year. She gained accreditation as a specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2016 and obtained her Masters in Medical Genetics in 2021. She is also an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
Dr Yang brings an evidence-based and patient-centric approach to clinical care. Her sub-specialty interests are in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Prenatal Genetics and Breastfeeding Medicine, as she believes that pregnancy is a unique opportunity to provide quality care that can influence the long-term health of the family, mother and child.
