Alicia has received a scholarship to study Physiotherapy from Singapore General Hospital (SGH) in 2001. Upon graduation, she started work at SGH, treating different patients in areas such as musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
She has over 15 years of clinical experience and gained valuable experience by working in private hospitals and orthopedic clinics.
She was a Clinical Instructor in Nanyang Polytechnic (Allied Health Faculty) (2013-2015). She was the Sports Physiotherapist for 26th & 27th ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) with Singapore Armed Forces.
She was working in Singapore Sports School / National Youth Sports Institute from 2012 to 2019 to assist students of different sports injuries.
She has done various sports coverage for Army Marathon, Rugby 7s and Inter-Polytechnic sports events.
