JENNIFER SU

Senior Physiotherapist
Master of Clinical Physiotherapy (Manipulative Therapy) (Singapore)

Jenn is currently a senior physiotherapist at Singapore Sport and Exercise Medicine Centre @ Novena (SSMC@Novena). In the 7 years working there, she has served some exotic sportsmen such as ice speed skaters; and regularly treats runners from as young as 9 to one well into his 70s.

She started her journey as a physiotherapist in 2001 where she was awarded a scholarship to study physiotherapy at Nanyang Polytechnic. Upon graduation, she worked at Changi General Hospital in various disciplines, including a stint at the sports medicine centre which cemented her interest of specialisation in sports-related musculoskeletal conditions.

She then joined Singapore Sports School as their resident physiotherapist, where she managed youth athletes, many of whom are in the national squad. Other than injury management at the school clinic, she also travelled with them as team physiotherapist, and crafted sports specific musculoskeletal screening to identify potential injury risk factors, especially during pre and post-season. She also conducted practical classes for the student athletes on topics ranging from recovery techniques to taping.

Being a firm believer in lifelong learning, she returned to school in 2011 and graduated with Master of Clinical Physiotherapy from Curtin University. Outside of work, she is an avid foodie and counts on swimming and yoga to keep shape.
