Assoc Prof Chan Soo Toon

Dr Chan Soo Toon graduated from Faculty of Medicine, National University Singapore, in 1984 and attained his M. Med in Anaesthesia in 1991. He then went on to complete his advanced specialty training in Anaesthesia in 1994. After leaving Ministry of Health, he continued his practice in Toa Payoh Hospital and Changi General Hospital (CGH). He was promoted to a senior consultant in January 2002 and served as associate dean at CGH from August 2010 to July 2016.

Dr Chan has been teaching undergraduate medical students from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine who are posted to the Department of Anaesthesia and Surgical Intensive Care since 1993. He was also appointed clinical associate professor in August 2010.
