Dr Ng Zheng Yuan is an Associate Consultant with the Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. He graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine, London, in 2012 and joined the SingHealth Obstetrics & Gynaecology Residency Programme upon his return. He subsequently attained both Membership to the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (MRCOG) and Master of Medicine (MMed) in O&G in 2018. In 2020, Dr Ng was accredited as a Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, with subspecialty training in the treatment of gynaecological cancer. An aspiring Gynaecological Oncologist, he wishes to contribute to the prevention, treatment and comprehensive care of women with gynaecological cancer. He is an accredited Colposcopist and member of the Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology of Singapore.

For his efforts in reducing post-operative complications and improving inter-hospital collaboration within the Singapore Healthcare Improvement Network, he was awarded the KK Hospital Patient Safety award in 2015. He strives for both clinical and academic excellence and was awarded the Outstanding Resident Award multiple times during both his junior and senior residency training, as well as the SingHealth Quality Service Award (Silver) in 2020.

Being particularly passionate about improving the standard of care for his patients, Dr Ng aims to provide individualised, holistic treatment plans based on each woman’s unique situation and needs. Constantly staying abreast with latest medical developments, he believes that providing evidence based, up-to-date information allows his patients to make well-informed decisions about their own health.

Dr Ng strongly believes in paying it forward and mentoring his juniors and the future generation of doctors. He developed the inaugural KKH Gynaecological Surgical Skills Course in 2019 with an educational grant from SingHealth ACP. For his various contributions to education, Dr Ng was awarded the Outstanding Faculty Award during the SingHealth Residency RISE Awards 2019.
