Profile

Dr Li Mingyue is an Associate Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in the Department of Maternal and Fetal Medicine, Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Her subspecialty is in caring for women with complex and high risk pregnancies.

Dr Li graduated from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2015 and joined the Singhealth Obstetrics and Gynaecology Residency Program in 2016. She attained her Master of Medicine (MMed, O&G) in 2021 and was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG, UK) in 2021. She received accreditation as a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology by the Specialist Accreditation Board in 2023 and has been admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS) since 2023. She has been appointed as Content Expert, Clinical teacher and Clinical Practice Facilitator of Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (NTU-Imperial College London) as well as Clinical Instructor of Duke-NUS Medical School. She is a member of Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society Singapore (OGSS).

Dr Li has a keen interest in medical education and is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. She has been regularly mentoring junior doctors and medical students from all three medical schools in Singapore. As recognition of her teaching efforts, she was awarded the Outstanding Tutor award by NUS and NTU medical schools.

Dr Li has also been actively involved in research since her medical school days. Her work has been presented and published in numerous conferences and journal, both local and international. She was awarded the Singhealth Medical Students Talent Development Award (travel), as well as Best poster awards and medals in multiple research conferences. Her research studies have also been awarded prestigious research grants and published in numerous peer-reviewed journals.

As recognition for her outstanding work and performance, Dr Li received multiple awards during her career including Outstanding Resident on multiple occasions, as well as Residents’ Committee Appreciation award for her work in Singhealth Residents’ Committee.

As a mother herself, Dr Li firmly believes in a holistic and patient-centered approach caring for all patients. She is experienced in management of both general gynaecological and obstetrical conditions as well as high risk maternal fetal conditions. She enjoys journeying with her patients through their pregnancies and beyond.
