Dr Dhilshad Qadir is an Associate Consultant with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. She obtained the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) and was later admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG).
Dr Dhilshad holds a special interest in maternal health and is passionate about guiding women through the transformative journey of pregnancy. Whether it's prenatal care, managing complications, or ensuring a safe delivery, she provides personalised and compassionate support to expectant mothers, prioritising the well-being of both mother and baby. Additionally, she is experienced in performing a wide range of gynaecological surgeries and strives to achieve the best outcomes for her patients.
Committed to fostering a warm and empathetic environment, Dr Dhilshad believes in a shared decision-making process that respects her patients' autonomy. She values open communication and actively involves her patients in their healthcare decisions, ensuring they are well-informed and empowered to actively participate in their treatment plans.
Dr Dhilshad extends her compassion beyond her practice, engaging in community projects to uplift the less privileged. Notably, she was part of a medical team that conducted cervical cancer screening for women in a village in India. She is also a core member of Project ARIF, which aims to improve maternal and child outcomes, underscoring her commitment to making a positive impact.
