Full Assessment and Review Clinic
Patients with diabetes are at risk of developing blindness, kidney failure, heart disease, foot ulcer & amputations, arising as complications of poorly controlled diabetes.
The objectives of the full assessment & review clinic are:
Serial 6 Monthly Review of HbA1c
It is recommended that the patient should be assessed at regular intervals to ensure that metabolic control is achieved. If diabetes control is not acceptable, further diabetes education is required and the management plan is reviewed.
