After Your Nose Has Been Packed

Breathe through your mouth and do not pull out the packs.

You may have a mild headache, your eyes may water and mouth may become dry. To relieve your discomfort, you will be given mouthwashes and oral medication.

You can take frequent sips of water, or some ice chips to soothe the dryness of your mouth. Rest in a propped up position. You may eat normally if you wish.
