Few people know
that there are groups of medicines for common ailments like the
flu, headache and muscle cramp. These medicines can be obtained
from a pharmacist without a prescription from the doctor. So the
next time you are down with the sniffle, take a walk down to the

Changi General
Hospital has expanded its pharmacy to meet the needs of our patients.
Doubling the space area to 10,000 sq ft, the new pharmacy is bigger
and brighter than before. Reopened in late October last year, the
new pharmacy has undergone a massive facelift. Major changes were
made to provide a bigger waiting area for patients collecting their
medicines. More seats were installed for patients and the need to
provide more privacy was taken into consideration while designing
the pharmacy.
The hospital's
commitment to customer service means that the pharmacy can offer
a broader selection of products at the best possible value. The
pharmacy now offers a wider range of drugs and products, including
babycare products, toiletries, organic food, aromatherapy products,
cosmetics and even pyjamas. Where possible, the pharmacy will also
make a special order for you when an item is not available.
The pharmacy
also has a range of homecare products and mobility aids for the
elderly, chronically sick or the disabled. To help them live a more
independent life, a comprehensive range of products including bathroom
aids, feeding aids and pressure-relieving products are available.
These products help to provide a more convenient, comfortable and
safe home environment for patients with special needs.
