Run CGH, run!

For about an hour, CGH lobby level 2 was turned into a running track for the “CGH Great Lobby Race”. It was an obstacle relay race to raise funds for HomeCare Assist. It was also a survivor game of the fittest and fastest.

Six teams from CGH, Institute of Technical Education (East), Temasek Polytechnic (TP) and Nanyang Polytechnic (NP), rose to this challenge. They had to run and go through several game stations where more tasks awaited. These included collecting gowns, gloves or party goggles, and demonstrating the steps of proper hand washing.

At the count of three, the first runner took off like the wind. A mad scramble ensued as each runner dashed about to pick up and don the race items in the correct sequence.

Eventually, the TP staff team emerged victorious when its last runner sprinted cross the finishing line first. Loud cheers resounded in the lobby and everyone was all smiles. After all, it was a race to raise funds in the name of fun.
