CGH’s Health Education Centre has a new home at Level 3, Clinics Block with effect of 14 Oct 2004. The Health Education Centre (HEC) is one of the anchors of the hospital’s health outreach programme.

The HEC aims to promote a healthy population by making information on medical and health matters readily available to the community. It offers a wide variety of health educational brochures, books, internet access to health related websites and CGH’s very own Interactive Patient Guide.

With the move to a higher traffic area near the Specialist Clinics, the HEC reaches out to more patients. Housed in the naturally ventilated Clinics Block, HEC was designed with an open concept layout for cross ventilation to conserve energy.
