The Ringmaster wowed the crowd with his antics and invited a participant to indulge in a spot of red-nose fn.

The Moscow Circus decided that a hospital is where they can perform and spread gladness and cheer to the patients recuperating there. Led by the Ringmaster, Sasha, the stars of the Moscow Circus wowed and tickled the audience with their antics and acrobatic performances. There were even opportunities for audience participation, as the clowns picked out participants from the audience for a spot of acrobatics and dance.

The highlight of the show was surely the "human juggling" act by a father and son team of acrobats. The boy was first perched on the acrobatís feet, then tossed up in the air by the juggler over and over again. The act drew gasps and much applause from the audience, who fully appreciated the level of skill and difficulty involved in the act.

This performance was beamed ëliveí to all the televisions in the hospital. This ensured that even patients, who could not make it down to the lobby, could enjoy the performance in the comfort of their beds or seats.

The crowd's favourite, the circus clown, clowned around with the folks at CGH Geriatric Day Hospital in a special Personal performance
Credit must go to our Friends of CGH volunteers who not only helped wheel patients down from the wards, but also helped usher the invited guests to their seats. This was not an easy task, considering the tremendous response from the community.

While the on-stage show ended at about 2.00 pm, that was not the end of the show for our Geriatric Day Hospital patients. They had the privilege of a special personal performance from some of the circus performers.
